Membership at Lakes Resort will become limited to ensure the golf course is available for members enjoyment at most times.

With plans underway to construct a 240 bed hotel plus the increase of resident members it will not be long before memberships will be at a premium. With this in mind, the Directors of Lakes International Golf Management have decided to issue “100” only new memberships for sale.

As from the 1st of December 2009 there will be 6 categories of membership. These being:

Resident, Founding, Individual, Overseas, Restricted and Corporate.

All members will have the full use of the golf course and clubhouse facilities as set out in the membership rules and information document. The Restricted and Overseas memberships have been created to meet market demand. While these memberships have full privileges, they are limited to the number of free rounds of golf available annually. Restricted (20) Overseas (15), additional rounds will be charged at the members guest green fee rate.

Joining Fee

The 100 available new memberships will be required pay a one time joining fee of $200.00 each.

Annual Subscription Fee:

The annual subscription fees have been set for the 2010/2011 year and are payable on or before the 1st of June 2010.Anyone joining part way through the year will be charged a proportional fee to the 31st of May, then the full year thereafter.

Tournaments & Competitions:

There will be various tournaments and competitions played during the year, all these events and other information will be notified well in advance in the monthly newsletter.

Reciprocal Clubs:

Over the next 2 months we will be organising a number of special access agreements with leading golf courses in Australia. These reciprocal agreements will give access for our members at special rates, plus use of the member’s facilities at each of the courses.
